mp3 player into bose system

I have a 97 gle with a bose system and want to play my mp3 player through it without using the cassette insert. Is there a set of rca inputs at the back of the unit, or do I have to buy a harness that plugs in that gives me the capability to plug in my rca cord connected to my mp3 player. I know you can plug in a cd changer because it has a "cd change" button on the head unit. Thanks for your help.

nope, you need to buy an adaptor...or hard wire the bottom PCB board yourself.

FM transmitters have crappy sound, but yeah they work. Don't Bose HU's have a changer input? I think you can get an adapter.

I was wanting to do the same thing, but I don't have a Bose HU. I do have a cd changer button on my Hu as well as an aux. I was thinking maybe there was a way to get an adapter from the changer. Where would I look for one of those?

I am working on a car pc right now. I just want something to use in the time that I don't have it in the car. I can't find anything that will plug into the cd changer input and power my ipod.

If you have an Ipod this is the way to go

Even if its not an Ipod this unit does have an aux input so you could use another MP3 player with it but there may be less expensive alternatives if you just want an AUX input.

maybe your bose speakers sucked, but my sound rediculously good. especially w/ my subs. and i push these speakers to the limits all the time and they havnt blown. so if thats what you meant by 'blose' i have no idea what youre talking about.

as for the ipod connection, theres an adapter you can get, try sounddomain.com
