Help with Red/Clear Taillight Install

Ok ive looked everywhere for a how to, on the red/clear tail light install from ebay. On the stock taillight the wire harness is attached to the back of the lens and im having a hard time gettin it off (without breaking it) so i can take the lens off. Also what do i do w/ the corner light (the globe looking thing) it pretty snug also.

I think they use some glue to make it stick to the frame of the car, so maybe try using a heat gun or a hair dryer to heat up the edges a little. My friend told me that he did this when he replaced the tails on his max.

Also, you might need to put some pressure into getting in them out. The weather stripping was a pain to break from the mold. Gently use a flathead to break the seal...

mmmmm... the entire part before "Also" disappeared .... Anyway, it was a pain to get those clips off, but came off with patience and some gentle prying to loosen them... The weather stripping comment was my .02 from personal experience...

This may sound elementary, but try twisting the bulb around. There are little "hinges" on each side of the bulb base that are not level. One hinge is meant to go deeper into the socket than the other. It may not fit in the socket if the hinges are not aligned on the rigth side.
