Question about the airbag light

Question about the airbag light

So, my airbag light in the dash was blinking really fast then i did the "open the door, the nipple that tells the car the door is closed, push that 10 times in....." well i did it now is blinking but really slow is there anyway to stop it completly (other than disconecting the bulb

Try resetting the airbag light again, and make sure you did it properly. I think you only push it 7 times in 10 seconds....read the stickies and just double check .

No problem. Whatever you do, don't take it to the dealership b/c they will charge you to diagnose the problem, just to tell you that its a bad sensor. Those will run you a few hundred at least. I know the owners manual says that the airbags should be replaced/checked after 10 years. So it wouldn't suprise me if it comes back that you have a bad airbag sensor.

Also, you only have the driver and passenger airbag? If your car is a 95 then you don't have to worry about the side airbags like the 98-99's do.

hi, thanks a lot i tried this time and pushed it 7 times exactly and the light is off now.
