I was driving on the highway, texting someone, when I went offf to the right a little over those damn grooves on the shoulder. I quickly corrected my car, but almost right afterward I could hear what appeared to be air seeping out of my tires. I thought my tire was shot. I pulled over, and all the tires seemed fine. I have not done a close inspection o fmy tires, though, since it was night and my car is now parked quite a ways from me now. Is there anything else which could have caused that "air seeping out" type noise, or is it most likely my tires? I don't think its my struts since the car bounced up and down on all four wheel points. I have 18" rims and low profile tires.

Thanks.

You shouldn't have been texting while driving....even though i do it sometimes....anyways I wouldnt be too concerned. If nothing is wrong then I would not worry. How long ago did it happen? Last night?

If I blew a strut, would my car still bounce a little when sitting on it or pushing down on the car, etc? Because it did still bounce.. I need to take a closer look at the tire but I'm pretty sure the tires were fine, hmm.

I wasnt going to respond since you were stupid enough to be texting while driving but................it is your tire. Low pro's can go flat and not look it (depending on how low of a profile). the struts wouldnt make a noise unless they wre moving and the noise would more often than not be accompanied by liquid. put a tire guage on that tire and I bet it is gone.
