I have installed 2 more under the front seats and one above my radio...but I havn't taken pics of those yet....And yes I know... I forgot to block out my lisc plate # on one of my pics and the other I did block out.

I perfer stock IMO.

I don't care for them. The circular lights just don't flow with the back of the car.

Red/Clears FTW!!!

We all go through the altezza phase of our lives, some earlier than others. You will eventually get past the honeymoon period and realize how cliche and obnoxious they make cars look. Its not so much that altezza lights are ugly, its just that the ones you buy off ebay look horrendous. Thats during the day and especially at night. They just stink of cheap perfume and glitter and make 95% of people on the streets snicker under their breath. Enjoy them for a while but when that times comes where you are walking towards your car and you start cringing, just know there are always red/clears just around the corner that look 1000000000x better(especially on your white car).

P.S. If you buy the red/clears off ebay, make sure to buy the inners and outters. If you use your stock inners, they wont color match perfectly in the clear section.

hes exactly right, i had them on my 95 for about 10 min, i put em on my car saw how they fit, relized how outragous, terrible, and ugly they looked, took em off and bought red/clears the next week and absolutely love them and i know for a fact they will never come off that car...

i agree with the rest of the maximers..but its ur personal opinion that counts also..i have the stocks one right now but def plan on getting red/clears pretty soon..just check out some of the pics of the white maxs with red/clears and ull fall in love..

i actually likr the altezza's with that color dude, on the darker colors they look stupid. but, i'm stock until i get the red tails next month. lookin good though.

 

the only altezzas i like are the led gen 2 ones ie, carbonfiber or gunmetal ones. and they only look good on black cars imo.

Red/clears are the best IMO.

On my 325i i bought some red/clears, looked great.
Altezzas look horrible on all cars (to me).

Its your car though, do what you like. Just my .02.

 

IMO it makes the Maxima look like a chevy Impala.

Not a 4th gen owner but ill tell you this. A lot of ppl out here in brooklyn have it and its looks really retarded. If u wanted to upgrade em i would definatly go for the LED ones those are hot and a lot of ppl agreed with that. But listen the only think that matters is ur personal opinion cause its ur car and if u like them that's it. Everybody see's think different so i would say Congradulation on upgrading hope you'll never dislike them and keep em.

 

Have to agree with this posts 100%.
The reason everyone bashes them is because the Alteeza scene has been played out and is pretty much dead now. Back in the day they werent too bad becasue the only other options were the David L's or the home made 97-99 red/clears.
Even I rocked the Alteezas for a short while. I didnt have them with the chrome exposed for too long though. I painted mine to do the skyline look.


I always wanted the red/ clears but the David L's just werent available and when a set would pop up they were way too $$$$.
Doing a trunk swap just for red/clears wasnt even an option for me. It wasnt untill I did the carbon fiber trunk that I was able to finally go with the red/clears or in my case black/clears and Im quite happy with my set up now.

 

went through that phase...wasted money on chrome gen II's. I'm sooooo much happier with my DTM lights!

I'm currently working on the exaust so...the muffler isnt there at the moment. She is sittin on wheels . I really like that painted altezza look to make it look like a skyline. I think I might just do that instead.

Haha Im working on the exaust... Doesn't mean I sold it to get altezzas hahaha.... And I got them from a friend who owns an auto body shop... Sold them to me for 150... You can get them off ebay I believe...
