Anyways bro, I posted on this a while ago. If by "reliability" you mean de-preciation, than no. With the proper preperation, the supercharger won't hurt your car if its in good cond. I had thought a while ago that they would age cars faster, but I was told its not true. Hope I answered your Q ? I don't have the 4 G's for a SC, so my advice might not be the most accurate.

Depreciation = A decrease or loss in value, as because of age, wear, or market conditions.
The two words are not equivalent.

Supercharger questions
My car is still doing fine. I put on the SC at 85,000 miles over a year ago and I now have about 105,000 miles on my odometer. The key to keeping your SC'ed Maxima reliable and dependable is to do the installation right. Make sure you have taken all of the safety precautions (transmission cooler, VB modification, colder plugs, test your fuel pump included in the kit) and everything should go alright.
I put my SC kit and exhaust mods on when the car had about 61,500 miles on it. The trans died at about 94k miles but I did not have Don's VB mod in (now I do). Other than that, the car has been perfect and I have no complaints.
