It's a bomb. Seriously, be more specific. If you are talking right around the engine block, it is the ignition coils, we don't have spark plug wires.

ok i turned the car on and looked underneath the hood and the rattling seems to be somewhere towards to top of the engine. could that be the ignition coils? if so how do i fix it? just replace them?

Ignition coils don't normally make any sound.
Fuel injectors do make a clicking sound, and that is normal.

It is important to identify the source of the noise. A four-foot length
of small diameter rubber vacuum hose will help you do this. You can buy
the hose in any auto parts store. They typically sell it in bulk for about
US$0.80 per foot. Start the engine and let it idle. Put one end of the
hose in your ear and the other end near any suspected source of noise.
The engine compartment presents a cacophony of sound. The benefit
of the hose is that it isolates the sound from one specific area. Work safely!
Avoid contact with any moving parts!

You may find it interesting to explore the sounds of your engine with this
inexpensive tool. Each moving part has its own characteristic sound. For
example, listen to the muted clicking of the fuel injectors. They should
all sound alike. If you find one with a different sound (or no sound at
all) you have found a problem.

The dealer's service department is equipped with high-tech diagnostic
instruments. These are wonderful devices but they are expensive and the
dealer has to recover his cost by charging you for diagnostic time.
Sometimes the home mechanic can do legitimate diagnostic work with
nothing more than a rubber tube.

when its on, but it does make clicking noises when i've just turned it off and even though u guys all say its normal i still don't get why my car would be the only one that does it out of all my friend's cars includiing a 92 max.....

i got my ecu codes earlier and reset the ecu then went out to eat about an hour ago and when we came out and started the car it started idling REALLY low like maybe 300 rpms and it kept fluxuating going up and down then it died and i had to keep touching the gas to keep it running. when we got home it didn't die but it kept idling low and funny so i popped the hood and the rattling ssound is even worse now so i'm taking it to the dealership monday so they can check it out...it needs a tune-up anyways
