That thing was really really nice!!! It was fast too. Went to my local Nissan dealership and the guy barely let me drive it. He was like, ill take you for a ride in it and let you feel how it drives. I told him that I wanted to drive and he finally let me. Then he told me to nail it when we got on the highway, I was pretty impressed with the power and smooth ride. Engine looks sweet too!!! I test drove the 02 on saturday

they had about 7 of them they had GXE, GLE, and SE

I drove it - it seemed to drive like mine though (I have a 97)

I did like it but I just wasn't too sure the auto didnt feel that much faster???

I thought it felt pretty quick, I wouldnt pay 30K for it though. It is a really nice car with great looks but not in my budget right now. I too have a 97 and felt that the 02 was faster. I mean how could it not be with 65 more HP over our stock engines? Oh well I just wanted to say that it was pretty damn nice. Take Care

I'm going to the dealership tomorrow to get some things done to my car. Maybe they have 02 maximas there too, I really want to test drive one.

I dont get this. Why does your nissan dealer have the 02 maxi's and mine doesnt even know when they will be out? Dont the launch them all at the same time?

It may depend where they are and where you are. Like Sometimes they hit bigger cities first or bigger cityies for sales like where more are expected to sell faster. This way before they are in commercials etc they have already been seen etc to help spread them around.

On the 6-speed Legend coupe I came [] <-- that close to buying, 5th was kind of harder to find than normal...you couldn't just jam it up and all the way right like normal. But the way I drive, I'd never hit 6th in anything (it's been pretty rare that I get in 5th in my maxi). Course, I tend to savor the smooth rollin rather than speed around like some

I talked to the Nissan dealer in FC, CO and they said they would be getting the 6 speed in early September. He said the autos would be in late August.

It's funny how you hear so many different things. When I went to a local dealer in the Boston area I talked to the mechanics(salesmen will tell you whatever you want to hear) and they said the 6-Speed won't be out for a while, like January(Ithink they said). And they said it will probably come out as the 2002 1/2 model year.

I talked to one salesman at my dealership today and asked him about 02 max. He said they will have them for sale at the end of September. I asked if that would be autos only and he said both auto and 6-speed. I can't wait
