I have a pair of 5 1/4 in. of JBL speakers. I don't know if these speakers would fit either on the front/rear. Does anyone know? If not, then what speakers size for the '96 Maxima? Thanks

Any 6 1/2" speaker will fit....you could always cut fiberboard to fit the hole and then put the 5 1/4" speakers in it if you wish.

Except, of course, MB Quart 6 1/2"'s...they are actually 7 inches wide.

They are german, and they use metric....(160mm)

The actual size is 6.5S "oversize" speakers.

Ummm....yeah...that's right.

Quarts still don't quite fit....that's why I got rid of mine in the front doors.
