Yes, as long as you don't lower it. If you lower it at all you will have to roll the fenders to fit the wheels in.

Correct. You can lower it though as long as it is a 45mm offset and you are runnnig nothing wider than 8.5 and using a 245/35 tire as well as roll the fender. You can also get away with a 255/35 tire depending on your set up.

FYI: one pot-hole and you buy new rims.

Maxima & I30's on Dubz

Oh yes its possible, here you go this I30 is Running 20" Fittipaldi(cant remember the type, will update soon)

and another by the way this car is lowered 1.5", oh and we had to roll the fenders to get them to stop that awful rubbing(sounds like a plane touching down).

This max owned by: CustomMax(former member) is running 20" Lexani Krystals.

Oh yea, that I30 your refering to is I30Cefiro.

That pic is photoshopped. Real one:

Moral of the story: lower it.

Yeah 20's are possible on an I30/Max. The only mod you really have to do is roll the rear fenders. Just be sure to get the right offset rim (mines are 38mm) and no wider than a 255mm width tire. For looks sake, you MUST lower your car and if possible add on a body kit if you don't want your car to look like a 4x4.

like theblue said, one pot hole and you need new rims. Plus 20's are to damn heavy. I personally dont like anything over 17's. I think ill just stay with my stock 15's. take care

If you're driving your Max on normal roads anywhere in New Jersey or New York, 20" rims and all the crap you have to do to make them work and the car look good aren't reality. You'll have popped tires and/or bent rims in no time not to mention breaking every bit of aero kit you've installed.

I thought I was going a bit far with 18" rims, 40's and lowering 1.5". At least I can drive around on just about any road here without constantly worrying about screwing up my tires, rims and underbody parts. Hell, I can't even think about an aero kit!

There's one guy here that lowered his car and then removed the lowering springs completely so he could drive with piece of mind. Even says in his sig "I will never lower my car again!

I know what you mean, because when I bought my car I said I wasnt going to do anything to it, I then joined this board started off with an intake, then y-pipe,then cat-back exhaust and now im SCed. However I prefer the sleeper look so I will just stay with my 15's and wont get a body kit or anything else like that. the only exterior mod i will do is clear corners. Take Care
