Replaced the ECM last Wednesday. It had been throwing a code for the check engine light to come the morning after I bought the car. Good thing it was covered under warranty,
I claim 4th gen with lowest miles

All just routine maintainace stuff really despite the fact that I beat it hard all through the day. This is such a great car.
Oh...well the front end was replaced too from an accident, but that wasn't excatly "wear and tear".

2 PVC's?
3 sets of rubber? Is that including stock set, or 3 times + OEM?
4 sets of brakes? Holy $hit, you must be hard on your ride. What pads have you been using and how do you like/what kind of wear are YOU getting?
I just upgraded my rotors and pads but not cause I had to. My fr rotors were starting to warp a little, had a ton of wear left on my pads, but she wouldn't brake worth a damn.
I'm at 69k and should see 80k with no problem on my 2nd set of crappy RSA's(including OEM.
All mods for me!
96 GXE auto bought new, 35K miles now.
Radio replaced in the first week because of the peeling off paint.
Tires replaced.
Fuel filter replaced at the 30K major maintenance (not so sure if dealer realy did it but on paper it was done).

???????????
What's up with this oil sender unit????!?!??!?! Seems like quite a few of you guys have replaced this thing.... WTF is that? How much does it cost? parts + labor?
I now have nearly 58k, no problems yet in the last 1.5k miles
That's pretty damn good... If I last another 500 miles I will already have made more progress with this car then my previous maxima which blew the tranny at 86k miles
I did have a Check engine light pointing to the EVAP canister and vent control valve, but after taking it off, playing with it a little bit and putting it back on it dissapeared

Original owner 96SE with only 26,800 mi.
Normal routine maintenance items plus recall on EVAP components.
OEM battery replaced at 9,700mi due to dead cell.
Alternator replaced at 25K. (diodes blew for no apparent reason.)
Interesting to see no other alternators replaced yet. Mine must have been a dud.

I've heard that leaky oil senders are common on our engines. I didn't even notice it...my mechanic did and he showed it to me. I bet a lot more people on these boards have leaky oil senders and don't even know it. I belive the part is like 30 bucks...but you need a special tool to remove and install it so I had to have mine done at the dealer.
Are there any symptoms of for a leaky oil sender? Would I notice a loss of oil?
