The GXE badge question got me thinking. Can you buy SE badges? I have a '98 with no badge and I was just wondering...

 

I believe they started badging the SE in '99 with the "SE Limited" version badging located on the front fender. Then in 2000 and after, the SE badge is on the back.

 

I bought a Pathfinder badge.

 

Yes, in 99 only the limited SE's would get the SE-L badging on each side. The regular 1999 SE like mine didn't come with anything.
Personally, I don't care if the SE doesn't have a badge, the Alloy wheels and the same color molding is enough of a difference.

 

Yes, that is very true about the alloys and color-coated handles and window trim is very much of a difference. I have a 97 GLE and have removed my GLE badge because I like the way the SE looks, I do have the SE grill and my window trim painted black, but I still need to get my spoiler put on and maybe sometime get my chrome door handles painted also. I have heard that people have taken SE badges from sentras, 240sx's, and pathfinders.
