OSCAI installed

Well, I got a little bored today and decided to take a shot a building an OSCAI. I used a 3" X 12" piece of ABS and a 2" to 3" flexible coupler to attach it to the car. I pulled the stock scoop off and attached the new piece only to realize that I couldn't get the completed piece back in the damn car! Luckily I only needed to remove the battery and cut a hole in the splash guard to squeeze it into place. I took it for a test drive and was pretty pleased with the results. The performance gains were modest but I get the feeling thats pretty true of all intakes(?). The throttle response was better and it does add a bit to the cars sound. I could hear a very slight whistle and a bit more growl at WOT. Overall I'm pretty pleased. I think I'll add some sort of a scoop to the setup if I can find something decent. All the vacuum cleaner attachments looked pretty useless. Any suggestions? Anyway just thought I'd share my experience.

Miguel

Damn I gotta get that setup, I'm sick of this annoying loud intake I got.
