TPS Problem- Please Help(DBM)

My Check engine light came on over the weekend and I just had a chance to pull the codes. I got a 0403 code and a 1206 code. Considering they both point to the TPS I was wondering which component is more likely to be the cause. The Throttle Position Sensor or Throttle Position Switch. Is their a simple way to determine the offending part? Which is the more expensive and is this something I could fix myself(given a moderate amount of mechanical ability)? Any help would be appreaciated.

TPS is around $150 from Courtesy Nissan. Not a very difficult fix, but you should at least be an experienced wanna-be monkey before attempting such a repair without assistance.

TPS Sensor and TPS switch are the same part, so it's just a single $150 part to replace.
