518,xxxx (kms) :D

322,xxx miles. Sucks I just type up a whole post of what I've changed & what's original & it timed out...

Anyway, here's the condensed version:

- rebuilt tranny ( bearing pre-load issue)
- 2 x starter
- 2 x alternators
- water pump
- 2x timing chain tensiones
- cv shaft ( ripped boot killed it)
- 1 injector, another one going
- swapped in slightly used eibach/Illuminas couple of yrs ago
- cheap paint job (had a minor altercation with a guardrail one winter that damaged my front bumper) Suffice to say winter tires are now the norm.
- have the new clutch master cylinder in trunk ready to install (over a year now)

Original:

CLUTCH
wheel bearings
rotors!
Rust..coming back...wheel & hood lip

97 max autotragic car has 134000 on it (motor ~70000)
when I got the car it had 115000

parts replaced:

knock sensor
rear calipers
All rotors
rack and pinion
AC compressor
Fuel Filter
Wheel Bearing (Right Front)
Catalytic Converter Hanger
Motor Mount
MAP/BARO Switch Solenoid sensor
O2 sensor (rear after cat)

The above tend to happen if you buy an old used car. Thats why never buy old cars

98 SE 5 speed, 169000 miles, purchased from original owner 3 years ago...

Replaced (over course of 66,000 miles):
-Rear rotors
-Replaced worn brakes with Hawk brakes pads front and rear
-Clutch line
-FL Half-shaft and boot (due to old boot being cracked)
-Thermostat/coolant flush

Plus many other preventative maintenance items, luckily no CELs so far. Currently dealing with noisy fuel injectors (sounds like tick, tick, tick). One is bad in particular. Probably will send all 6 in to be cleaned (~$17ea). I'm very happy with the car, hope to keep it as long as I can (or until I have enough cash to buy a newer VQ powered beast).

So without reading all 4 pages, who has the record for highest miles? 95bluse's at 322,000 is pretty impressive.

just bought my 96 SE last friday 4AT with 128,XXX...
the guy i bought it from said it had just gotten new brakes AND rotors, Thats a lie beacuse theyre all grinding again so brakes and rotors are goin on tuesday.

Rebuilt Tranny
Tune Up (including O2 Sensors/Knock Sensors and some other stuff)

Stuff i KNOW i need ASAP:
AC Compressor
Power Steering Pump
Suspension (Might as well switch for Tokico Illuminas/Tein S-Tech Combo)
4 Rotors
Driver side Front Axle
Muffler (stupid Ricer muffler has to go...killing my backpressure)

I Guess once these Beauties hit 100+, Regular RELIGIOUS maintenance is a MUST

Hey Mfresh07!

Could you tell me how much did it run you to rebuild your 4AT ?
And also who did the job ? Dealer, local mechanic etc. ?

guess ill throw mine up as well.

1996 - SE Auto 158K
purchased 4/05 with 122K

3 wheel bearings/stock one is front passenger.
trans flush
1 windshield due to F@#$ing semi's around the rural areas and working on another crack now due to same problem. . .
brakes, and rebuilt rear calipers
tires, Bridgestone Potenza G009
Starter, i know this was the second because the on i removed was an AZ Duralast
Power Steering pump
Valve cover gaskets
Water Pump
Spark Plugs, Oil etc. . .

1997 - SE 5SP 212K
Bought 10/08 with 211K
This is my project. Many mods to come when resources appear!

Plugs and Oil. not the dail driver, so no concern for anything. although front core support is rusying out, and front 2 tires are shot and needs an alignment BAD

Hell, might as well throw my dads up here too.
1999 - GXE Auto ~70K
Bought 8/03 with 8K (he got this thing for a STEAL)

Trans Flush
Oil
Plugs
Bank 1 O2 sensor #2 twice. code still wont go away.
Codes P138 & P139. Any Suggestions?

Had a 1991 SE with 217K when we sold it. still kicking myself for selling the old girl. o well

um.. Just got mine. Has 205000. Still have yet to drive it more than around the block though. Serious exhaust issues, 8 CEL codes, no power to fuel pump, short through shifter adjusted ALL the way down so it rubs on the cat convertor, front pass strut loose at the hat, neither radiator fan turns on, no heat.. Um.. Other than that, it's GREAT....(<---sarcasm).

But, heck, I got it for free....

98 i30t with 157k.

Starter
Alternator
KS
New tranny at 60k (on the dealer)
2 resonators & 3 mufflers (lived most of it's life in Cleveland)
G35 sport wheels (again because of harsh Cleveland weather)
Front Calipers & Rotors (last week)
Axles (next week)
A33 muffler (week after next)
Y-pipe & O2 sensors (next month)
Shift Solenoids (month after next)

Runs like a top. Mostly maintenance items. A lot of things were due to driving conditions which ultimately, corrosion will be her demise.

FWIW just do the KS. IIRC, the rear O2 will throw along with the KS. I had all kinds of codes when my KS went... just replaced the KS and all was good.

219K miles right now on my '96 SE! The car has had a new timing belt & tensioner, water pump, clutch, and alternator & starter changed. Everything else has been basic maintenance and it is still running very strong! As far as mods go, it only has a Warpspeed Y-Pipe and a glasspack in-place of the stock rusted out muffler (I went cheap but it sounds good )
