ok...ladies and gentleman i have finally completley disassembled the Auto Tranny, I found metal chunks and shavings in the filter inside the valve body, looks to be a broken snap ring maybe??? i found the other half lodged under the planetary gears so im prettey sure that migh have been the cause of the slip and eventual death of the tranny, when i disassemble the 1,2 gearset ill report more findings, anyway heres a picture of the pinon shaft that pretty much determines gear ratio and connects your differential gear to your reverse foward gears ....

The drum looks scorched but the rest doesn't look too bad. Time to throw in some heavy duty clutch packs and a shift improver kit.
