WTF!! Driver and passenger seat belts BARELY retract what to do?

I have to feed the belt in and it pisses me off, what can I do so it retracts all the way by itself?

Take a 15-20 inch length of dental floss and thread it through the loop on the B-pillar, between the seat belt & the loop. You will now move it back and forth on the loop, and when you do this you will remove all manner of crud and debris. This junk is difficult to see, but it is there and causing the seat belt to retract slowly. Honestly, Nissan issued a TSB about this.

Hmm, I'm having this problem as well, when you say "loop on the b-pillar" are you talking about at the highest point in the seat belt, or where the plastic "kicker" piece is. If that makes any sense

Yes, sorry that's tech-speak for the post behind the driver's head. The highest part, where that seat belt runs through.

I'd do the same. Just wanted to point out the warranty if worst came to worst.

Wow, a lifetime warranty? Interesting...

I will try to do the above method, but it seems like the problem is further down, like where the rolled up part is behind the plastic cover.

I took my 96 to nissan for that issue, I think its just a 10 year warranty but this was in 05 and they covered it. All they did was clean the thing the seatbelt goes thru on the side pillar (I don't know what its called) and then put a thick layer of clear tape over it. Mostly fixed the issue but it was free so can't complain.
