good to know. i dont have a bogging issue tho - the only issue i have is during start when the engine is warm. when its cold it runs like a champ.

yo do you think you can help me with the R34 install in a couple of weeks?
im not lookin forward to having to redrill holes to make them fit.

That y-pipe talk is the biggest crock of dudu I've ever heard. There are plenty of people that have ONLY y-pipe &/or headers and do not have problems. I had full Cattman headers on for about a year on my 5.5 gen before I decided to get a b-pipe. And even then, to this day I still sport my stock muffler. A friend of mine has had his Maxima for nearly 7 years and 6 of them have been spent w/ ONLY a y-pipe and no other exhaust work.

As for the NWP spacers deal, maybe you fubar'd the install.

on working backward on the install.

no i didnt say a leak caused high idle, it caused sputtering or irratic idle when in D.

and my car, when cold, usually jumps to about 1200-1500 before settling down

im not sayin the spacers made me run rich, cuz i was running rich before but it does indeed backfire alot more now with the spacers. im just saying that with that handful of upgrades u might need to get the car tuned as im having to go through.. i spoek with aaron about the subject and i agree with him. it might be a fault in the installation.. yea sure i can help out with the headlights. no drilling needs to be done, its very simple

I would check the the coils, i was thinking about what u where saying and i had the same problem about a year ago. I didn't get a code for it. You can check them with a Ohm reader. There was a right-up on the org, I'll see if i can find it.

Im currently having a problem with my 96 maxima. When i get out of the car while the car is running i can smell gas like it is running rich not a gas leak. My car has 170k on it. the spark plugs seem pretty good i checked them. I have 2 CEL on P0136 o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 2 and P0500 Vehicle speed sensor malfunction. I just replaced the water pump. It has a y pipe and a test pipe and a jwt pop charger. It was not running rich like this when i bought this a month ago. my question is what could it possibly be? is it possible that when i was detentioning the timing chain i skipped a tooth and maybe advanced the timing?? I know P0136 does not affect the fuel ratio because its after the cat. My fuel mileage has significantly dropped like 5mpg..The engine runs fine idles fine drives fine everything..
