Does your Cruise Control work after 5 speed swap??
Mine doesnt.. i have the clutch switch (bottom normally closed) wired so i need to press the clutch to start the car.. the cruise just blinks and doesnt stop.. i DO NOT have the switch on TOP of the clutch pedal wired in... its in series with the brake switch....

so this is what u need to do its extremely simple... there is a switch that is on top of the clutch pedal.. if u dont have it use the one from the brake pedal they are the same...
you need to have the clutch interlock working first.. which means u need to press the clutch in and then the car starts...
first u need to look at the ascd module its right by the gas pedal...
find pin 5 on it ... if u look at the plug disconnected its the bottom row 5th form the right... that is the brake pedal normally closed switch what disables the curise...
next take and cut that wire in half right at the connector and simply IN SERIES wire in the cable u have from the clutch switch... and it will work..
basically ur putting another switch in series with the brake switch... thats all.. i just did it yesterday and it works...

when u press the clutch the rpms raise until redline OR until the ecu shuts it off doesnt it???
the nuetral switch only shuts off the cruise when the pedal is floored... thats why u need to have the clutch ascd switch working cuz it shuts it off immediately... this is how it works on a regular non swapped 5 speed maxima...

Yeah, I got that. But I thought you meant the cruise didn't work at all w/o the switch being wired in(but it does) and that is what I was checking. Yeah it is much better to have the cruise wired up so it works like it should

hum, something i might add....my car is originally a 5 spd, but when i bought the car, i turn on the crusie control..the "crusie" light appears, but the car just slows down.....then, for the heck of it, i cleaned the TB...and a week later chenged the valve cover gasket, (i unplugged all the wires and put them back in) and in a week i treid again for the hell of it, and it worked...
