Installing a JDM hoodscope and a tornado/CPU fan can create supreme ultra super high flow in your cold air intake which yields about 40whp and saves up to 70% of fuel.

You may mock this.. but there is some good in this idea. what i have done is gotten a cone filter, and at the end of it connect a pipe which connects to a 12v computer fan which then connects to the outside..

now the problem with the HAI is heat soaking of the intake path. once you sit at the lights the engine radiates heat into your intake. which heats up the piping for the intake. so while idling, the 12v fan is enough to introduce fresh air from outside into the intake path, which greatly reduces the amount of heat soak while idle.

the air is still air...its not an AIRCONDITIONER.....especially if you have a cold air that gets air from when ur driving it goes directly to the filter.......mine does....

Replacing the coolant with Brainfreeze Slushy Slurrpy from 7-Eleven in your radiant can greatly reduce heat which means you'll get more BHP. Also I'm working on twin turbo CPU fan WITH LED to achieve twice the air-flow (in style)- one per bank. I then heat wrap AND gift wrap the pipings so they will resist the heat while looking awesomely wicked Kool with capital K. The filters will replace my fog lamps so they will get the freshest and coolest air possible to get another estimation of 30WHP. Dont hate cuz thats how I roll.

I'm j/k btw. You can hardly gain any noticeable HP from it. They are cool mods but dont expect much from it.
