The pics in the post above is lights just like those, only blacked out on the inner headlight bottom also, and the corners were completely blacked out inside!

But is it really worth it to sacrifice function just for looks?

Worst logic ever.....
So you dont drive at night but were considering HIDs for a while before getting flamed, and then asked about projectors. Why if you dont drive at night? Looks?

dude, they are just cool. Why cant you see that? Who cares if the light shines everywhere except the road, as long as people can see YOU. Gotta think like a playa, playa. Get in the mind of a real muthaphukin G.

plus, dont you see the stickers and stripes? Its a race car. Race cars dont have to be practical.

I really dont have the time. With a family, three dogs, a house and my own car I have enough to deal with already. My setup took over three months to complete due to time constraints and the simple fact that I was learning as I went being that no one had done a setup like mine and the parts I used were test fitted as I went untill I found items that would work and that I liked.
But the last setup I did for someone was a simple single projector setup in cefiros in which I provided everything minus the actual headlights and I charged around 500.00 I believe.

I get many requests from people asking me to duplicate my setup for them, reality is even if I had the time I most likely wouldnt do it. I like being unique and having this setup. You have already done your grill like mine, even down to the emblem. Having another white 4th gen with my setup would just take away the uniqueness from mine.

Sadly, not much you can do with the 9004. The 9007 swap is a cheap and effective mod although some dont like it but the majority do. I know I did.
Other then that, a retro is truly the only real solution to better lighting.

Same concept though, you have even admitted it before.
FYI, before I had the 95-96 altered to fit my bumper I had a black 97-99 grill with this emblem.

I'm going with the R34...Light pattern isn't something I ever paid mind to. I never even notice the stock headlight sucked. I live in the big city with big lights. I could drive home in the middle of the night and not even notice I drove with my lights off.

Thanks for all the pictures and replies.

Well its the truth. None of the aftermarkets have good output unless you retro.

No, its just been proven over and over again that the R34's have very crappy output. Worst then stock. Unfortunately, the 9004s arent too great either. Everyone knows this already. Thats why I suggested the 9007 conversion.
If someone truly wants a better alternative, then yes a retrofit is the way to go. That doesnt apply to just Maxima's either.

I dont see whats wrong with it? Dont you want to be an educated consumer? Personally I'd appreciate all the advise given so I didnt have to waste money on an inferior product. All to what...look cool? I dont even see a huge difference, they are one piece and they split the reflective housing into two...big deal. Makes about as much sense to me as a woman buying a new purse. god forbid she be seen with some AVERAGE purse...
