Did you get the reverse/neutral wire directly from the switch under the hood, or did you take it from the interior (driver running board)?
As this was a 5MT swap, I had originally just jumped the PN harness (so the car could be started regardless of gear or clutch pedal position) and ran a wire all the way inside to the unit from the engine bay. After looking it over, I just wired it directly to the PN harness.

Correct. My clutch position switch isn't even hooked up, so it's neutral or nothing.

Installation Was Successful! "Great Success!"

I had to relay the second starter wire and teach it tach. I will post a write up with pics and diagrams for people that are confused in the future.

TLMNICK and pmohr seems to be talking about different sensors. I did it pmohr's method and works fine on my 5sp. Actually, I did it slightly different but used that same wire pmohr's talking about. I tapped it right off the ecu harness, about 2" from the ecu.

The trunk opener doesn't have to be run into the driver's side door.

You can get it at the BCM, IIRC. http://forums.maxima.org/2960277-post3.html

Yeah, BCM if you're lucky to have SE/GLE. For my GXE, I ran a wire along the driver side door sill to the alarm.
