99 positive battery cable

so i replaced the battery on my 99 today, and when i was tightening the nut the terminal broke. it is completely broken across the part that goes on the post. can i use a generic battery cable or am i stuck getting the dealer cable. i ask because of the connector that attaches to the terminal. please help. thanks.

that was a PITA! for me, i had to do wires, mine were screwed.... Corrosion is a BISH. we just bought Generic Wires from NAPA and they have a smaller second wire that runs from the terminal, and we jsut soldered (very important) the wire inside the connector.
