Intermittent Engine Problem

Hoping someone has an answer. 99.5 SE-L Automatic. 130kmiles. Have intermittent hesitation that cannot be isolated. No codes, not consistent, will run fine then every so often have the hesitation. Normally at slower speeds, starting from stop but again is not consistent. Have new spark plugs, compression is good...possible coil packs? My mechanic has had it for 3 days now and has had it hooked to computer. Has driven and been able to duplicate issue however does not send code through computer. Even TSB's are blank. If anyone has had same problem and found cause would appreciate feedback...

It's a 99, most likely a slight misfire from a weak coil pack.
Give it some time, it will either fail altogether or finally throw a code.
Had the same issue with my 99 way back. Took a whole summer to finally throw a misfire code.

Good luck!

Its a coil pack. Test them and figure out which 1 it is.

I'd just replace them all, personally.

+1.

I replaced cylinder one because that's where my misfire was. Still had drivability issues with no pending or clear CEL. Replaced the other 5 and been good.
