Keyless entry..

If you have a red blinking light that says security in a 95 GLE. That indicates that you do have a keyless entry system correct?

I've been trying to program my remote for like an hour now and its not going through.. I bought one off ebay from "Keyless Ride" And the instructions that came with the remote were completely different then the ones that I see online. So maybe they sent me the wrong remote?? I disconnected the battery and will wait a half hour and try it again. I read about someone having the same problem and then doing this and it erases previous keyless entry codes..

check the FCC id on the back with the one that goes with our cars. search here for it.

Is it a used OEM remote or one of those newer looking ones that is sold on ebay?

Is the battery in the remote good?

The only way I know to program is the method on here
lock doors
insert the key a bunch into the ignition
turn to acc
push lock button
open doors

Check to make sure you've got the MRCU in the trunk.

That's the keyless entry computer, basically. Do the hazards flash if you try to program it the correct way?

FWIW the FCC ID for the stock keyless remotes is A269ZUA078.

And as pavelsmax said, what does your remote look like?

Isn't KeylessRide the company that sells new aftermarket remotes that replace factory ones? If the instructions they sent you are different than the ones on here, then maybe they did send you the wrong one.
