Heh, installed FSTB... :O)....

My driveway is kind of slanted/inclined but it is still relatively straight.... well.... after almost ripping off my hand trying to remove a few of those strut tower bolts, I started putting it on and at first, i was putting it on the opposite way and it wasn't fitting but i was still like WTF! I bought a non-4th-gen-max bar, i was hitting the brake fluid resorvoir.. then it hit me, (i'm a retard) and I turned it around and slapped it on.. tightened it with my hands (no fraeakin torque wrench) and took a spin..... after the small grin on my face I realized one thing... I NEED SOME GOOD WIDER TIRES!! I was taking corners and the tires were screetching although my front had noticeably less body roll

This is my first real performance mod.. hehe...... i think i am liking this mod thing...

I have a question...I don't have a torque wrench either...is the best way to tighten them by hand? or with a tool? i don't want to bust anything, but i don't want it to fly off, either...

I appreciate a response!

Peace

Just tighten them to where you don't have to really push on it, then take it somewhere like Pep Boys where they'll let you use a torque wrench. You really don't want to strip the threads on these nuts.

yeah, i used a wrench to tighten them, it's hard to explain how much u have to tighten them, I don't really know myself, except that u can torque it to 30 with a wrench? I just pulled it with 3/4 of my strength without forcing it too hard. I'm planning on getting a torque wrench ASAP since it's so useful for all sorts of things...

Str8ridin: Yep I'm bit by the bug...

Sears sells a beam type torque wrench (0 to about 100 ft lbs) for less than $25.00. Why take a chance and not use one?

Next mod on your list should be Stillen RSB. You'll feel even greater results from that one.

With those platform 8.5" wide wheels I wouldn't expect body roll even with no suspension mods. I have 6" wide hub caps with stock Toyo's with 61k miles on them, but the diff was noticeable. RSB is coming soon

Yo Stillnmax, how exactly is the Stillen better? As long as they perform the same, I really don't care.. the adjustment thing is not a factor for either, I won't bother adjusting it anyways..
