It could be the push switch in the door jamb. You could try checking there first.

The bell is a white plastic thingy under your steering column. Mine never had a problem but I just pulled it b/c I know when my door is open. I don't need my car telling me that. It's sorta rectangular about 1.5"x1"x1". I'll take a picture if you can't find it.

So does this beeping only happen when the keys are in? Out? Car running? Not? Headlights on? Off?

So it's only when the door is closed that it starts beeping? Doesn't do it when it's open?

By 'bumpin the door' you mean hitting it? Opening and closing it?

If you ignition switch is old it will turn the car off but not always reach the position to turn the "key in" warning off. You kinda have to turn it a little more or jiggle it. Our cars are just old now.

And it won't let you use the remote to lock.
