Strange isn't it. It wont move at all from rest. My odometer and trip still work though. Guess they would be the last things to stop.

Any one ever have this problem? Its not a fuse, I checked.

i have a similar problem - my tach doesn't work correctly. i have no idea how to fix it, but i too found that it's not fuse related. might have to buy another cluster.

 

My tach doesn't work either. It only slowly moves from 1000 all the way past 8000 to rest on the other side. It sometimes flips back to 3000 to slowly move back to 8000, but mostly just sits passed 8000.

 

I have the same problem, went to nissan to let them check it out and they said "it's a common problem" well turns out a brand new cluster is around $500. No i did not make any mistake in listing that price.
well i kept looking on ebay and turns out, they had the cluster on there for around $75. If you want a white face, they might cost more.
So keep looking, and good luck!!!

haha...I tried to use that excuse with a cop, and he didn't buy it!
