me me me

I have one. It is a 98 with twin turbo's. The turbos have been modded a little. It has taken me 13 months to get it here. I was stationed in japan for a couple of years and bought it while I was there. Now my only obstacle is to get tags for it, however I still drive it on occasion. If anyone in Dallas see's a skyline its me (he he he)

I wish I had a Skyline in the States,

no such luck it would cost about 80 Grand all in all to get one over here.If they ever had them in the States for a reasonable price like 40 Grand I would get in a heart beat and have a`sh*t load of debt.

Just looking at my issue of Super Street and it says that MotoRex is the exclusive distributor of Skylines to the US and its more like $90K.

Here Australia an R32 GTR costs you about US$20,000
GTR R33 about US$30,000
single turbo skylines (still far out!) are half the price, they are quite popular here as you could imagine

If you don't mind an older model, you can score an R32('91-'94 model year, I think) GT-R in the low to mid $30k range. Something's better than nothing.hehe

The R32 is a little lighter than the R33, however the R33 is more aerodynamic. They share very similar engines, almost nothing in them except a little more midrange torque for the R33.
There is a 600hp+ R32 going around here on the "Gold coast"
its the fastest thing i have ever seen.

That kit on the skyline or very similar to it is a Kakimoto kit, they cost approx AU$30,000 but it comes with your very own 335 width tyres

skyline distributor

If anyone lives in the Northwest (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Canada) and really wants a skyline, contact jin@genesisracing.com or just check out their website at http://www.genesisracing.com (it's still under construction). They have a deal with MotoRex, and are now their northwest dealer. Tell him Joe referred you, and he might be able to give you a good deal.

Also, there is a company called Ultraspeed in Seattle that imported their own Skyline (blue R-34). It looks PHAT!! I saw it on the freeway a couple times. I know what you're thinking... Did I race it? No, I just pulled up close to it to get a better look. My friend got to ride in it and take pictures and stuff, though. (lucky bastard)

95greenGLE: I know what you're talkin about.. I saw that max/skyline... Made me wanna do that to my car!
Can you belive this is a MAXIMA?

I can not believe they parked that car next to that other one with the long 500 lb doors. I would park at an angle if I owned that.
