i know its an old thread, but this helps a lot. i'm strongly considering buying similar ebay projectors around the same cost. i'm lost in the whirpool of projectors, and it seems like a very tedious, expensive process. was looking to buy these:

if anybody has any better solutions that wont involve me putting in too much effort or doing it myself (as i'm def not handy and work too much to learn), i'm all ears.

 

this thread confused me for a second because i was like why the hell did he bake them apart? but then i actually read lol. cutoff is actually a little better than i remember seeing in a similar thread where they were installed on a max.
