Carpet

My carpet is really nasty and has holes in it in various areas. How bad would it be to just remove it and put down bedliner? I could just tuck the wires into the plastic trim. Worst case I guess I could always get a junkyard carpet and put that over it if its really ugly. The rest of the interior looks brand new (inherited car). Also Id remove the factory deadener.

Thoughts?

go with some used carpet. Generally, you can steam clean carpet making it look good as new.

My carpet is just as bad as well.... Looking to change it completely... Junk yard carpet is a good way to go for cheap, fair condition carpets to be steamed n maintained and you're straight...

JcWhitney has various prices on carpet depending on quality of fabric design...most of the carpet are molded and preformed to fit.....cost are excellent and can't be beat....starting @ $100-$250

If you tear out your carpet and use bed liner you will regret it. It will look pure ugly.

New carpet is in. Took me about 11 hours to do. I didnt take out the dash so I cut the carpet at the front into a U shape infront of the shifter.

Its not anywhere near OEM quality, it has a lot less sound deadener in the carpet, no dead pedal, and it doesnt exactly form fit, you have to trim and spot it and trim and so forth.

it looks good though, I used stock interiors.com. Ill probably have to take some glue and glue down some of the corners.
