No A/c
Ok guy so the other day i replaced my alternator and while doing so this wierd wire disconnected that connects to the a/c compressor. so i basically just re-connected it, its looks kinda like a fuse connected to a wire and the input is like just a hole. And now my car is running but now i dont get cold air! im not sure if that was the problem or not but now...i get air but not cold air...and its hot as a mother right now and im dying. lol help out, i'll try to get a pic of this wire later..

check inside the engine bay theres a fuse for it there as well, and while changing the alt. did you pull out the ac comp, if so did you disconnect the feed lines that go onto it cuz if you did than there goes your freon,
another thing when you put the ac on do you hear the ac comp. click on?

Is that the wire that you plugged back into the compressor?? If not, where is that wire coming from? If it is thw wire connected to the compressor, what happened to the protective covering??

that could be wire that turn on clutch in a/c compressor, yep it suppose to be to plugged into compressor. i would check voltage on the connector , suppouse to be like 12,5 only when u turn on ac, if there is voltage fuses are OK, and u have to looking for problem in compressor side connector

Yah that connector turns on the clutch on the a/c compressor. When it disconnected during installation of alternator I reconnected it ****ty and well it mustve got loose while driving and d/c again. Now it's all good, I'll connect it properly and tape that **** up so it doesn't happen again. Thanks guys
