I agree, and thanks for the link!
Though if I were gonna go red/clear, I would set up a custom LED grid that can switch between red, amber, and white, depending on what's needed.
Oh and I understand if what I'm saying makes no sense; I'll use my awesome MS Paint skills to draw what I'm talking about.

haha no problem and +1 for MS Paint! I think I get what you are talking about. Having leds for the stop reverse and turn signal. What I'm gonna do is get the tail lights and then figure out what bulbs go where then order led light bulbs to get the full led effect. Because only that red ring has leds should come with led bulbs imo

Sorry about the double-post, but I just made my awesome pic! I used Wizard's taillights as a very basic outline for what I have in mind. Since the site doesn't seem to want to agree with my slepp-deprived ****, I'll post it as my profile pic.

I knew I didn't look hard enough... it's whatever everything happens for a reason. I'll do whatever it takes to get my Maxima looking good, you know? No matter what the price.

I have the same exact tail lights on my 97 black max se...looks real nice but about half of the led's on my left light went out because of dirt getting to the board I guess....I don't know what I wanna do...I liked the LED look a lot but ehh

That is probably one of the -insert negative remark here- maximas I've laid eyes on. A 4-door S15 Skyline Maxima? Was he trying to make a statement that Nissan's are the greatest of cars with this project? If yes, he got the point across to me.

Keep that crap in the 90s and keep skyline tails off the maxima. It doesn't make the car faster or make it look any better - this is all just my opinion so feel free to give it a go if you think it'll draw positive attention (if you do you are naive)

For the most part I'm with you on that. The S15 look on the front end does seem excessive. The way he set up the R33 taillights make the car look better than the R34 taillights would though. Still, I top my hat off to you for at least making it all come together good and not seem rushed. I christen thee, the S15 Maxiline!
But given the cars you got the parts from, I would think you'd go the extra mile/kilometre and convert it to RWD (RWD front, FWD middle, RWD rear; 2/3 says it should be an RWD car).

Wow those look pretty good could you post a close up pic on the tails? I really would like to see how they look at a closer view. I got the carbon fiber ones and I don't like them very much. They look too cheesy IMO. I think I might get the chrome ones instead and maybe get them smoked or candied.

The LED ones are long gone and discontinued, but you can still get these Mr. Gravedigger.

Anything similar to David L tails looks the best IMO, and if you can do LED's like Wizard's that is THE best look IMO.

BTW, I in my mouth several times when looking at the pic of that Sylvia/Maxima/Skyline POS mashup. I then threw up a few more times while going thru the other posts and seeing those pics re-posted...That has to be one of the biggest ricer POS out there...

4th gen tails have such a design that they just don't look good with the skyline tails, almost no matter what you do IMO

Thanks man. Of all the mods on my car, the LED tails have to rank in the top 3. Kevlo LED tails =

You got it "boss"!! Sorry Brooklyn slang just came out....

I would agree on the awesomeness, and not many people have such mods either.

And that is exactly how I felt, I puked in my mouth, several times looking at that travesty....

I baked mine open and painted the inside to hide most of the chrome. If I had to do it again I'd either paint the center chrome or just make a set of kevlo led's with red clear's..
