So I completly forgot that I got the 05 6spd axles with my engine so I installed those and they fix perfect. Drivers axle of a 5spd does fit as well. The only way I could see the passenger axle fitting is by moving that mount on the back of the engine block over os else the teeth won't fit in the tranny.

so i found this rather funny when i cut into my fire wall for the cables wires. almost like it was meant to be. i pushed the shifter back as far as i could using the stock hole for the original shifter
