Why did I lose ? read ! !

Drivin down th highway tonight and a similar maxima 95-96 with the same stock rims on it, doenst seem to be modded pulls up next to me...Im like ahh he prob wont wanna race so i pull off with a head of steam and he comes after me....he beat me up to about 80 he was at about a car length then I shut it off...at the next light I tired it again...I was dead even through 1st then all second he was ahead then I just gave up through 3rd.. What the F*** I am soo pi**ed...Maybe my car is just slow I have a 5spd maybe he was 5 spd and modded...cause I folled him up the highway alittle and he was flying around traffic like it was nothing...what ya guys think ??

p.s. It was cold out so I didnt have my windows open so I couldnt here anything...and when he beat me both times he put his flashers on so he is definetly used to beating people

Maybe my maxima is slow; just cause it sucks

A knock sensor malfunction in your car will cause you to be slower, and you may never even know about it. Pull the code out of the ECU and see if the 0304 code comes up.

no the light may not come on...at least in my case. my light only came on when my evap cvcv sent the light on...upon retrieval of the codes, 0304 was one too. but others have mentioned that the 0304 is just a mistake in the computer?

Trust me, it is not a mistake. Replacing the knock sensor in a car that is throwing the code will help.
