car won't start ?
hi i have 96 maxima gxe with 170,000 miles and this morning tried to start the car and it cranks but it won't start what is the first thing i have to check is there a way to check if its the fuel pump or the timing belt ?

I doubt it's the timing chain but here are the codes:
Code: P0443 | Description: EVAP Canister Purge Control Valve/Solenoid Valve
Code: P1105 | Description: Manifold Absolute Pressure Switch
Code: P0325 | Description: Knock Sensor
The knock sensor isn't preventing your car from starting..

ok i took the car to the autozone and they pull the codes and it came out to be a 1302,0201,0807, and 0304 i check the first 3 and all of them it says its a camshaft position sensor and the 0304 its the knock sensor but which one is the one that it's making the car cut off some times and also i heard a whisile noise on the vacum lines but i can't find which one is the one making the noise . please any help would be apreciated.

Dude, people aren't responding to your post because you are not listing out the codes for us to tell you. The codes are in the stickys with the numbers and their respective descriptions. When you get that done, we will tell you which one is causing it to happen.

0201
Diagnostic Trouble Code 0201 indicates a problem with the ignition coil and power transistor
The items to check include
- Harness or connectors (the ignition primary circuit is open or shorted.)
- Power transistor unit built into ignition coil
- Condenser
- Crankshaft Position Sensor (REF)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor (REF) circuit
1302
MAP/BARO SW Solenoid/Valve
807
The Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Volume Control Solenoid Valve uses an on/off duty cycle to control the flow of fuel vapor from the EVAP canister. Diagnostic Trouble Code 1008 is set when the Engine Control Module (the computer) detects an improper signal through the valve. The problem is likely to be in the electrical wiring, harness, or the valve itself.
well here they are i still don't know what is the sensor that is doing my check engine light blink

i took the maxima to the autozone and they plug the machine and im still getting the same codes p0443 that means the 0807 p1105 that means 1302 and p0235 thats 0304 and this is the knock sensor . no other codes indicating a misfire, i wonder if it has something to do when i tried to read the codes myself from the ECU and i let the screw in a bad position but i check and its ok .
