DOES ANY ONE KNOW HOW TO REPLACE THIS COOLAN NIPPLE

does anyone know how to replace the "top" coolant line nipple that runs into the firewall behind the engine. my nipple is dry rotted and needs to be replaced while i have the engine out

so its connected to the heater core is what you are saying? the actual orange nipple that the hose goes on

from what you're saying yes. You can bypass the heater core if you don't mind having heat.

the way the snow is fallin, i love my heat..but as a back up, how would i bypass it?

you disconnect the coolant lines from the heater core, and connect them together using a coupler.
