HID's Or Projectors?

-->NEW PICS AT THE BOTTOM<--

Just purchased a set of R34's. Took them apart to clean and restore the lens.

So now that they are apart i can take atvatage of a retro via my buddy or Put them back together and get a HID set from a buddy..

Projectors are coming out of these headlights...they also have the halo's

Haha wouldnt that be almost blinding? Also the down side with the HID's is the cost to replace bulbs..

HID bulbs rarely burn out. They'll be blinding (glare) without projectors. IMO they're annoying and too bright either way, though. I'd go with halogen projectors, personally. Whatever you do, don't put HIDs in reflector housings.

Any projectors will be better than those R34 reflectors so definitely do a retro if you can. Also, whether you get HID or halogen projectors use HIDs. They won't be blinding at all, that's what the cutoff shield is for.

If you have the $$$ and time, HID+retrofit. If you don't and want to peak your interest and get marginally better lighting. Buy aftermarket halogens (PIAA, Hella, Nokoya).

I assume those are aftermarket projectors.......if so, avoid them.....get some HID projectors, hell do a quad-projector retrofit in those R34s. You won't regret it.

Agreed with getting both. Without projectors, those HID kits will melt the housing and have horrible glare

R34s are pretty short height wise, I hope those work for you.
