Ok I did the valve cover gaskets, when I took out one of the coil packs the rubber part that connects to the spark plug stayed on the spark plug, I used a needle nose plyer to retrieve it but I damaged it..... I put the coil pack back without this piece... The car has a hesitation will this effect it...

 

Yes. The rubber boot insulates the spark from the tube. You are leaking spark and the spark plug is doing nothing. Buy a new boot.

Next time that happens, put some crazy glue on the stem. Put the coil pack back on, wait 2-3 minutes then pull it back out. The boot will be glued back onto the stem.
