De-badgeing FTW or FTL?

the other day the cop had to walk to the front of my car to make sure it was a nissan. lol

and the 4th gens look like a suby from behind when they are debadged. main reason why i did it.

 

I've got a Datsun badge on the grille. Let's see them identify me now - they'll have to check the centercaps on my wheels.

 

Ill run the Mustang caps when I get tires for my 17s, and run an infiniti badge lol.

ftw! but i havent done it yet.. Im gonna wait till i get my body kit and and just have the shop do it when i spray the car down after the last of the exterior mods. But wont be any time soon tho ..

i want to loose the trunk key hole too.

 

"Red 1999 Nissan 4D" is what's on my title, damn old KS State Troopers not recognizin my 'ish, I can change plates with sentras and altimas AWL DAY (jk, the vin is on the title, but WHO CARES LET ME HAVE MY MOMENT)

I've been issued warnings under Nissan 4D also... My fave was in my 5th gen I got a warning that said "01 Nissan Sentra" with the plates in the wrong state (5th gen was also debaged)

I know they're only warnings, but it's still funny... shutup

I mostly like cops. Only given tickets I deserved, and warnings that should've been tickets. I just like my car being a mystery machine.

I don't like 95-96 trunks at all and think they look worse debadged

I ditched the burger on my old 4gen and liked the look a lot- I felt it really cleaned up the rear deck.

me personally i love it when people tilt there head to the side and give my car that confused look and say "what kind of car is this again"

cuz thats usually followed by "really!? its fast"

 

Why do you guys call them badges? They are emblems! I say no emblems - go for the clean look.

My badges looked like they were ready to fall off so i took em off and left em off.

 

Debadged 2 years ago. Could still see the "maxima" for a year or so, now it all matches.

No spoiler+no sunroof visor+really low+debadged=sexy

I might strip mine also when I do body work next week.

 

New to the Maxima, just got a 96, and one of my first plans is to debadge, so I'd say FTW as well. (coincidentally this is my first post)

 

Hmm not sure if i like that pic of the debadged black max and the matched one... cant decide which to do either.
