i only see a few little hot spots but its not noticable sitting in the car, i only ordered 4 bc i didnt look at the back of my cluster before i ordered them.
i sent some back to them that werent the right type and once those go through ill get my last bulb for my fuel gauge.
what do yall think?
plus i didnt have to do anything to the needles for them to be seen VERY well.

I havent done it but... I heard that If you get sand paper and sand the back of the needles the orange paint comes off leaving the needles clear. This makes them visible like the 95-97 Gauge needles...

i have the needles that are clear with the black sides.. i also have a set of red needles that are extra from another cluster that i cleared.
i didnt use sandpaper i used nail polish remover and mine came out clear as day but i still have the clear/black needles in there

So I've searched & searched & I cant find anywhere, where they mention the bulb size for the turn signal, check engine light etc..etc..for the guage cluster. Does anyone one kno what they would be?

soo my neo5's came in .........they dont fit my cluster lol so i used them on my blinkers and high beam lites in the cluster and went to pep boys and got some leds from there completely diferent bulbs of course they only had 4 bulbs at pep boys so i need to wait till thursday to finish ill post a pic when its done 95 max with 96 gauges
95-97 just use a 194 bulb in the clusters guys no specific bulb you can get them at autozone bright white led or if you want red/green you have to stick with standard bulbs instead of led i have it done with mine but no way to put up pics currently.

97 mechanical gauge cluster
Questions:
Will WLED-x5 work plug 'n play in a '97 gauge cluster?
How many bulbs do I need for the entire gauge cluster?
Are all bulbs in the '97 gauge cluster the same part number?
Is the "LOW FUEL" bulb the same WLED-x5?
Will the dimming feature work with LED's?
Thanks

It sucks a 98 digital cluster can't take the 194 LED as I think they offer it in a brighter white (3500K). I have the cool white in my 98 digital gauges and it's not superbright and has a blueish hue to it. I wanted a solid bright pure white.
They need to make the these in warm white!
