Suspension Overhaul and questions
I have a 96 SE and the front strut mount is bad so I am just going to replace the front suspension because it has 150k on it. So this is my chance to upgrade to a nicer suspension and drop. I was planning on doing Tokico Illuminas all around with H&R springs(or Eibach h-techs) but the rear suspension was replaced appx. 30xxx miles ago with Monroe Sensatracs and I did some research but I couldn't find this suspension combo. Having Illuminas in the front and Sensatracs in the rear with H&R springs.
I understand the drop will put extra stress on them but will it cause the sensatracs to blow prematurely?
Or will they last long enough for me to save for rear Illuminas?
Or should I just do it all at once?
Thank you.

I am also looking for the same answer if its smart to replace the front instead of all and I was going to but in the springs after I got both. So I am asking illuminas in the front and my stock rear with stock springs then replace the rear struts & springs after?

listen maaaaaaan....u guys need to SEARCH. There is so much info in the 4th gen forum..waaaaaaay more than u will get by starting this thread. Jus gotta look.
That being sd, Hell man, SEARCH for my thread i did on my setup. I got blues and H&Rs. Its one of the best low budget setups u can get.
Illuminas are blues that are adjustable. If u dont want to adjust the suspension every time u want to run on a track then jus get the blues.
KONIS are the best, but require a lot more prep work for the install and may involve welding.
KYB is cool if u in a warm climate.
Jus check my thread and u be cool
