Is your trunk LEVELED?

It's my first Maxima so don't mind the stupid question.

The question is, is it just me or is the floor/trunk of the maxima isn't leveled? It seems to me that the front is higher than the back

What can I do to fix this issue? It's pretty bad I guess because I can see the carpet bucking right where the spare tire is while the front is raised up

I made a whole trunk floor out of MDF using the carpet as a stencil. A piano hinge was used to join the pieces, which made it easy to get to the spare tire if needed. A lot of guys just make a new piece using the cardboard spare cover.

This was in my 99...

Here's another pic. May be a little hard to tell because of the angle.

That was a cheap setup. Audiobahn...good bang for the buck. Wouldnt buy it again though. And the grille cover was there to keep my tools in the trunk from hitting the sub.

same reason I used to grille's, and why my custom box has a baffle around the edge.

i used a piece of particle board in my trunk. to level it out and to have something to bolt my amp/brackets to hold my subs from flying around.

i used pieces of insulation foam to fill the space between the spare and board.
