where did you get the HIDs from? it sounds more like a problem in the harness or relay.

You don't need the cancellers/capacitors so remove those. Make sure your grounds are solid. Check all connections, the fuse on the relay and your underhood fuses.

If everything checks out fine, try swapping bulbs from one side to the other to see if the same problem happens on the other side. If the problem persists on the original side, try swapping ballasts from one side to the other to see if the same problem happens on the other side.

That should 100% narrow down the problem.

The only 'bi-xenon' 9004 kits Ive seen have a halogen H3 bulb as the high beam. The cancellers/capacitors shouldnt be needed at all like Chris said.

i had a set of 4300k 9004 bi xenon hids...terrible for non retro headlight users. took em out within a week or something like that last year. MORE glare everywhere cuz the bulb is longer. however i have heard of a coat of paint or something that goes around a part of the actual bulb to reduce glare, but i have also heard of this killing bulb life.

I'm guessing the bulbs move up and down. Those are "true" bi-xenon kits.

Those are hi-lo kits. Bi-xenon kits have bulbs that move up and down.

well in mine, it seemed to be a magnet in the base of the bulb, and when the high beam is activated, the relay energizes and that would push the bulb forward, not down or up.
