Sorry it took awhile to get 10 ppl interested that's the game we have to play these days since ppl say they want this or that and a company spends money to tool-up and only 1 person buys their product......That can leave a bad taste in anyone's mouth so let's be happy that it is closer and almost ready for us all to start placing orders,....Again sorry for the wait but this is the process and I thank you all for your participation!

Ok Orgers the prototype 4th gen Catback is ready for shipment as Josh (MES) has quoted and hopefully I'll be through with the test fit before that weekend....Sorry I was away from you guys for awhile but my job discontinued our night shift and I transferred to another dept quite a ways from me and I'm going to work earlier than I ever have in my whole life....and getting a real taste of Houston Traffic coming home...anyways I hopefully will be thru with this exhaust within a week of it's arrival @ my doorstep! I'll be using Magnaflow components (22" x 4" round muffler & either a 5" x 11" x 22" or 5" x 8" x 18" oval muffler) I used a similar setup on my MES 3rd Gen 2.5" catback and it was drone free throughout!!!!! Matter of fact I used an 18" x 4" round muffler as the resonator and the 5"x 11" x 22" oval muffler and I had no drone at all!!! This is close as real as it gets! Thanks be ready to get yalls money together here are the contact again:

Carlton/ Cmax03,

We have the 1st prototype built and ready for shipping.

Its 2.5 inch aluminized tubing. We will include the flanges and hangers, but they are not welded to the system.

What system do you need for your car?

How long would it take to test fit this system?

Josh

Well to too all the naysayers about this thread being a bust we were a very patient and in contact with MES who delivered a 3rd Gen Catback for the org as well about 1.5 yrs ago and I appreciate Josh for doing this for us and everyone that signed up...Monday I should be in communication with MES and the catback should be here hopefully by the 5th of May....So I'll post pictures of the tubing kit and my fitment for all you "Interested In a 4th Gen Catback Exhaust"....I usually paint my tubing with 2000 or 1200 degree F engine paint and it last forever especially witth it being aluminized steel.....We're almost ready for the payments to MES guys Ok.....

For those unsure about what the product looks like for $120 bucks or close to that, MES designed a 2.5" catback for our 3rd gen Maxima(s) about a year ago and these are pics of that $120 tubing kit:

Today i will begin cutting my original non-mandreled bent Flowmaster setup from the previous owner....I should be able to hang must of it today and get my cut and tacking marks ready for the next step, Tackle welding! Waiting on a few extra pieces like (2) O2 Bungs for my Oem O2 sensor and my wideband O2 sensor! I'll go with exhaust band clamps instead of u clamps and 2 mufflers...... This is a 3-piece system great for disassembly during maintenance.....I'm still thinking about ordering an extra muffler 5" x 11" x 22" too see if it fits...if not the 5" x 8" x 18" will be the one!
