I understand things come up and you've had some hard times lately, but it's going on two months since you received the catback. You're going to lose potential buyers and **** off MES if you haven't already. Get it done already...

The MES catback is bent perfectly and I'm presently waiting on mufflers to arrive with my Father-in-law health scare we weren't home much so I couldn't order anything cause didn't know if I was gonna be here or there.... The hanger support rods are thick as hell and I may need a Oxy-acetylene torch to bend them....I'm going with the 2.5" x 4" round x 22" long Magnaflow muffler for the resonator... and the 5" x 11" x 22" Magnaflow muffler as the rear muffler.....fabing everything in is next but the tubing system is right on!!!!!!!

I went full custom. Complete header back and spent only about 500 for all the parts. Put a 21 inch resonator on it and a muffler with adjustable/removable baffle and called it a day

This system has alot of adjustability with patience and attention to detail this MES catback can result in an awesome catback.....I'm be doing a little welding/tacking as well as bending my hanger support rods today.....and fitted them for tacking....Mufflers are or their way, so hopefully I'll be done soon....Thanks for the enlightment, but Obstacles just kept coming and I guess life can't be perfect 100% of the time and we have to battle thru and weather the storms before us to reach our objectives and goals...

The 3rd Gen and 4th Gen Maxima(s) are roughly about the same size.....so I think the pricing will be close too each other!

Magnaflows came in yesterday...the left and center are for the 4th Gen/MES 2.5" Tubing kit...The one on the right is for my 5.5th Gen, 3" Cattman catback...I'm gonna experiment went a resontor section using a 6" round x 18" long x 3" in/out muffler as my resonator.....Cattman 4" x 20" x 3" vs Magnaflow 6" x 18" x 3" (138.16 cu in. vs 169.56 cu in)and the flat end caps have better sound control than a bullet shaped muffler.....The Flat end caps reflect more sound within the muffler making it quieter than the bullet style!

Looks nice. I'm glad people are finally realizing the benefits to a 3" exhaust.
When I get the money, I will be doing an aluminum 3" on my Max as well, but using all vibrant components. I can just build it at work and make it sound pretty decent.

As an added note for people who still don't believe the benefits of 3", on my daily driver 2006 Civic Si; I installed a 3" and my AFR on my wideband went lean across the board, most noted was from 5000-9500rpm where the AFR went from about 11.7 to almost 17 in some places. Unfortunately the other side-effect of such an exhaust is that it's friggin' loud. It sounds amazing at idle, but it's still a Honda...

I use alot of Vibrant Components myself like the heavy duty turbo-interlocked flex sections, 1" wide SS exhaust clamps, I haven't tried there resonator nor mufflers yet, they're to small....Magnaflow's lineup is unbeatable IMO and their quality and sound is awesome! My 3rd Gen also uses a MES tubing catback kit with a 4" round x 18" long x 2.5" in/out resonator inconjunction with a 5" x 11" x 22" rear muffler and there is no drone EVER! So I already know the only really growling will be @ WOT on this 4th Gen as well, I've got everything marked still bending the rear muffler hanger hooks and the final welding is close, may have to do this tomorrow....
