Engine swap - I30 with maxima california model

My 96' I30 bent a rod last year from a rebuilt injector sticking open (careful using those refurb'd injectors) so I started a basic swap to another VQ30 from a 4th gen maxima (through LKQ - $700 with $125 core return, 6 mo. warranty, 100k mi. on motor) ....

the only problem is, I'm realizing its a calif model engine and the evap/etc are a lil different....anyone have some insight or quick tips on what I have to swap/omit, etc...I just dont want to have to get a harness for the calif model, I'd like to keep my harness and just remove the calif equip from the new motor and use the orig system components...

can provide pics, if y'all need

thx

Use block and heads from the motor from lkq. Use everything that bolts to the intake manifold and exhaust manifold from your old motor.
