ATF Flow

Does the Automatic Tranmission Fluid flow,

1. Oil pump > Oil Cooler > Oil Pan
or
2. Oil Pan > Oil Cooler > Oil Pump

From what I can find the flow uses #2. From visual and theory it should be #1.

The fluid gets picked up from the sump, pumped through the trans, out of the torque converter (where most of the heat is generated), to the cooler and returned to the sump.

Cooler Lines

That means the cooler line on the passenger side of the radiator is the outlet line, since it goes to the AT oil pan. Correct?
