Recommendations for replacement Nissan Clutch

Right now I am considering a Rhinopac, an Exedy and a Sachs for my 98 Maxima 5 speed. Does anyone have any recommndations?

Also--do not laugh--does anyone reuse their pressure plate?

Best bang for your buck - throw a 5th gen OE clutch in it.

Is the clutch the same part number for the 5-speed and the 6-speed?

Don't do 5th gen OEM clutch. JNCoracer and I have had snapped pressure plates with just bolt-ons on our car.

Buy the Exedy OEM replacement clutch, I payed $127 shipped from Amazon.

I have a clutch upstairs with practically no mileage on it i'd sell for pretty cheap if you're interested. I don't know what brand it is but I do know it's for 4th gen maximas. I can get you pics if you'd like.

I bought a Sachs oem clutch for my 3.5 swap. Still holding up good. I had my mind set on either an Exedy Stage I or 5th gen oem but decided not to overcomplicate it.

Bought it at oreilly and comes with a lifetime warranty which is not bad IMO.

If you go to the group deals section, there is a seller "importrp" and I've ordered a clutch kit and front and rear brake sets from him. The clutch kit I got for <$160 is an Exedy stage 1 OEM replacement and it feels great. The kit comes with clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, some other little round thing, and a clutch alignment tool. My mechanic installed it and did a bunch of other stuff at the same time.

I just replaced mine with an Exedy OEM replacement clutch. Feels just as good as the original. Well worth it.
