RockAuto Customer Service uhh... Rocks!

So, a few weeks ago I noticed my driver's side rear window was about halfway down when I walked out to my car one morning. It would go up if I held the switch for a little while, but if I tried to put it down, it would kind of stay in place on the weatherstripping until it would just fall.

Obviously, the window regulator was no good. I ordered the cheapest DS Rear window regulator from Rock auto, and it arrived in only a couple of days. As I had not even seen my own regulator, nothing alarmed me when I opened the package. Upon removing mine from the car and comparing the two, it was obvious the new one was much longer and would not fit.

I found a part number UNDERNEATH the sticker on the box- the part # for the DS FRONT window. The catalog displays a picture of exactly my DS rear window regulator for the part number I ordered. I called to start a return, and they said they would just send out another, and not to worry about sending back the incorrect one. So that went right into my DS Front door. Free parts are parts that belong in my car.

FF to today, got the replacement regulator, and it's the wrong one again. Started the return, guy again says it's not necessary, I'll be refunded, and even though I'm not ordering another.

Long story short, I ordered a DS REAR window regulator and got a DS front regulator--twice. Installed the first, still have the second, didn't pay for either.

Sounds like we should start ordering the wrong parts just to get them free. Great service.

Rock Auto is unbelievable. I ordered the clutch hose online because it was leaking, and then I realized once I got it, it's not the correct section of the hose (that goes into the slave). Only OEM can be used for the front section.

When I told Rock Auto, they sent me a new Maxima. I asked if they wanted my old '98 back, and they said no, I can keep both.

I have been ordering parts from Rock Auto for years and have never had an issue with anything purchased.
